Salutations from the Honba

Greetings, traveller. I am Arlo’luxon vas Honba, a Quarian creative with a desire to share my poetry from the sanctity of my spot on the goods ship, the Honba. Us Quarians don’t have many visionaries such as myself and find it hard to wile away the wee hours when we are not keeping the Fleet together.

Despite having more of an engineering background, we do respect the arts and laud our dancers and writers that deserve our collective admiration. It is my dream to share my contributions as we make our way across the galaxy on our way back to our home world of Rannoch. Allow me to start things off with this little entry:

Here on the Honba, life goes by,
Children play and adults lie.
Youth is simple, age is anything but,
The fleet in my eyes is stuck in a rut.

I harken back to times gone by,
Sometimes so much that it makes me cry.
All my memories aboard the Neema,
Exist merely in shadows of this meer dreamer.

As I pull this lever and carry that component,
My mind has no time to escape the moment.
Work means nothing to me, but endure it I must,
for without said work, our lives shall turn to dust.
